Aubrey Plaza
Aubrey Plaza, born on June 26, 1984 is a comedian and actor known for her witty humor. She is April Ludgate in Parks and Recreation. After performing improv and sketch comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza made her web series debut by presenting The Jeannie Tate Show. Following her first appearance the actress went on to was on Judd Apatow Funny People and Scott Pilgrim's Vs. World. Let's celebrate her birthday today. Aubrey Christina Plaza (born in Wilmington in Delaware) is the daughter of Bernadette Plaza who is an attorney by profession and David Plaza a financial consultant. The daughter is of Puerto Rican parents and an English-Irish mother. Plaza is a graduate from the Catholic All-Girls' School in 2002. In 2005 from Tisch School of the Arts of New York University. When she was in her senior year at the high school she served as president of the student council at the Catholic school for all girls and was a part of Wilmington Drama League performances. In 2004, while during her sophomore year of college Plaza was struck by a stroke, which caused her to suffer from expressive aphasia and a period of paralysis. Her recovery is complete. Plaza started doing sketch and improv in New York City's Upright Citizens Brigade Theater back in 2004. In New York, Plaza has done stand-up comedians in The Improv as well as the Laugh Factory. Plaza has appeared on television as Robin Gibney in E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street, The Jeannie Tate Show as well as the debut episode Terrible Decisions starring Ben Schwartz. Troopers on CollegeHumor, Plaza played the Princess a satirical Sci-Fi persona. Plaza made her saxophone debut in Cassorla's Bona Fide in 2014. Her first appearance was in Father John Misty's Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings in 2012. In 2016 Plaza appeared on HarmonQuest in the role of Hawaiian Coffee a gnome. That same year, she played Aaron Burr on Drunk History and Cat Adams during Season 11 C.B.S. Criminal Minds. The show's 12th season saw her made a successful comeback in the role. In the following year, it was revealed that Plaza will be appearing in the comedy indie An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn.
